Every autumn term we run residentials to Seven Sisters on the Sussex coast for year 4, year 5 and year 6 classes. Classes camp in the stunning South Downs National Park, and explore the surrounding coast, downland and river.
Children will have a chance to try out an engaging range of activities including rockpooling, land art, wildlife ID, orienteering, and more! TGC provides all bedding, beach shoes, waterproofs, food, activity resources, and a thorough risk assessment.
We prioritise supporting children’s wellbeing and building resilience, teamwork and communication skills through nature connection activities. Our team of L3 Forest School and Beach School facilitators are trained in trauma-informed practice and work collaboratively with the school staff to provide activities that focus on meeting the individual children’s needs.
